A must have: Sigma 50mm ART A-mount lens now available for preorder at BHphoto!!!!!

Don’t think…buy! This is the lens that matches the Zeiss Otus performance for a quarter of the price! And now you can preorder it for Sony A-mount at BHphoto (Click here). It’s the worldwide first preorder option! For non US readers: BH ships worldwide and calculates import tax for you. let me know if you find more stores accepting preorders on this lens! Also E-mount camera owners should consider buying this lens. It’s the best you can get!

Other rumors: Pentax Z with Sony sensor. Fuji Full Frame lenses will fit FE mount.

Let’s catch up with rumors that in some kind involve Sony:

1) Pentax launched a teaser for their new Pentax Z medium format camera. Wanna bet it uses the new Sony CMOS medium format sensor? :)

2) Fuji will release a Full Frame system camera in 2015 (via MirrorlessRumors). I heard that flange distance will not be as short as the E-mount. It means their FF lenses will fit on E-mount via adapter. Could be great to sue Fuji lenses on our A7 and future A9 cameras!

Amazing Sony A7s Low Light test video!

Den Lennie just updated his A7s post by including an amaizng A7s High ISO test (Click here and scroll down to see the video). The screenshot on top shows you the noise at crazy 409,600 ISO. This is really a complete DARK(!) room with no light. And the video you will see that actually up to 102,400 ISO noise is acceptable!

And here is the image at ISO 6400. As you see there is no light in the room at all!

A7s sites in different languages at Sony US, DE, UK, ES, FR, IT, NL, SE, FI, PL.
