Ok guys…I swear…i never saw that great deals in five years of SonyAlphaRumors!

The Sony A7r with vertical grip with SD card and bag sells with a $1,000 discount at Amazon US (Click here). It’s not a scam third party reseller…it’s Amazon itself selling it for that price!

And now also the Sony A6000 with lens, bag and card sells for $548 only again at Amazon US (Click here).

Riaan: “I have no idea how many other have discovered this…and if they have they must be keeping it secret. The Sony A99 can sync a studio strobe outdoors in certain conditions. I am still testing how/why this happens…http://ift.tt/1EH7vNG

Darren:So I had a recent project which I thought you may find interesting. I was recently graced with the opportunity to film a short with Daniel Ilabaca who is one of the top parkour athletes (traceurs) in the world. In this short Daniel traverses through the Los Angeles landscape in ways and places that are rarely seen. It is a unique glimpse into a city that everyone knows but that few have known like this. 90% of this short was shot on the Sony FS700. It has been my go to camera for actions sports for a couple years now. http://ift.tt/13wspnq

Ross:Wanted to share some of my Halloween pics … on the Waikiki streets and in two Rooftop clubs … that I only shot with the Sony a77 m2 + 16-35mm f2.8 and a few with the 50mm f1.4 ZA SSM. More on the links This is the Hyatt http://ift.tt/N9TVhR Buho Rooftop Restaurant, and some Waikiki: http://ift.tt/N9TVhR

Jorge:The Online catalog feature on CameraPeddler.com which allows a user to inventory his or her photographic equipment is now up and running. Furthermore, The Group Valuation feature which allows other members to value your equipment in addition to your own personal estimate, can provide a graphical presentation of your items values from other photographers. This is a great way to provide real estimates to insurance companies and validate insurance claims if any. As always, you can make these features private by turning them on or off in your settings.

The Member Wanted list is up and running as well. This is a fantastic way for dealers or individuals to monitor what potential buyers are looking for and connect with them if you have what they are seeking. A simple click of a button from within the Wanted List allows you to post an item in the market which will notify members immediately. You can also grab the RSS feed which will keep you up to date on wanted items.

For an example of an Online Catalog, visit http://ift.tt/1EH7xFy and click on the Graph Icon.

For the Wanted List, visit http://ift.tt/1BtlDy3 and click on the RSS icon to subscribe to the list.

SAR reader and Sony Artisan Brian Matiash published a new eBook called ‘Moving to Mirrorless’. It chronicles his transition from using Canon dSLR gear for over 10 years to shooting exclusively with Sony A7-series bodies and Sony glass.

The book is over 90 pages long and is totally free! To download, users just need to sign up for his newsletter over here: http://eepurl.com/ML_sv.

Current Canon/Nikon camera owners that would love to switch to the Sony FE system may find this helpful. You can use all your current lenses and trade in your camera at Adorama (Click here) :)

Thanks Brian!

A FAKE rendering of a possible Sony 85mm f/1.8 FE lens (Source: Xitek.).

I keep receiving confirmations from different sources that Sony will launch a new 85mm Zeiss FE prime lens in 2015. It should ship late 2015 at best. I am yet not sure about the aperture but it is defintiley faster than f/1.8 of the Zeiss FE 55m lens!!! Only issues, I have been told it’s also more expensive than the 55mm FE :(

Anyway, if you need a budget 85mm E-mount lens do not forget you have the manual focusing Samyang 85mm f/1.4 E-mount on eBay (Click here) or at Amazon (Click here). Very cheap!

Let’s just speculate with the specs and price yet:

Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll.

Reminder:
This is the official Sony FE roadmap:
