Soon (March 4 at 5-6am London time) Sony will announce the four FE lenses and you will be able to preorder it. I have no info yet if Sony will also announce a new updated roadmap. I hope so because it would be nice to see that fast 85mm f/1.4 FE lens becoming real

There will be no camera announcement yet. There is another press announcement scheduled before the start of the NAB show in early April. But I have yet no 100% solid info on what camera will be announced. Let’s hope it’s a new E-mount cam with internal 4K recording!

Worldwide very first image samples taken with the Sony FE 28mm f/2.0 lens!

Those are the first image samples that have been taken with the new Sony FE 28mm f/2.0 lens that will be announced within the next few hours (5-6am London time). They have been posted by Pantip and the resolution of the images is low. But you can still get a very raw first impression of a sharp lens with pleasant bokeh.

First preorder for the new Voigtländer 15mm Heliar III A7 optimized lens (ships March 10).

The new Voigtländer 15mm f/4.5 Heliar III lens is now on preorder in Germany (Here on Fotomundus) and Hong Kong (Here on Shenikon) It costs 749 Euro or $899 and will ship on March 10. The lens has been redesigned by Voigtländer to improve the corner performance on the Sony A7 FF cameras. This means we can finally get a relative compact wide angle lens for decent money.
