Rawfa: “It’s not really a rumor, but I’ve posted some photos I’ve taken on the remote northeast Brazil on several photos and I’ve been getting a lot awesome comments. Feel free to share them if you want to: http://ift.tt/1xUnevA ”
Giovanni: “I am a long time reader of your excellent blog. It was instrumental in my selection of Sony mirrorless cameras (since the very first Nex5), a decision I never regretted.
I think your readers might be interested in my book “All things devoured” on decaying, abandoned places in Italy, if not for the photos per se, at least because it is entirely photographed with Sony mirrorless cameras, and with non-native lenses. The cameras I used are a Nex 5, a Nex C3 and an A7. The lenses I used include Canon nFD 50/1.4, Canon FD 200/4, Minolta 40/2 LM, Nikon AF-S 17-35/2.8, Nikon AI-S 135/2.8, Zeiss Contax 50/1.4 AE, Zeiss Contax 80-200/4 MM, Zeiss Contax G 45/2, Voigtlaender 15/4.5. Can you recognize the signatures in the photos? ;-)A free full preview is available at www.gmsacco.com“

The Sony A7II is capable of fulfilling two tasks that only 2 years ago where pure dreams:
1) Use any kind of third-party lens on an affordable Full Frame camera
2) Improve the image quality with those lenses by adding on sensor stabilization.
So I figured out it would be nice to show you how you can spend $100 or less for a second-hand lens and take great pictures with it.
SAR reader Drasko tested the 70€ Minolta 50mm MC Macro Rokkor QF 3.5 on the A7II. You can find all the pictures on our SonyAlphaForum (Click here). Those images are simply great!
The lens only way to grab the lens is on eBay (search results here).

Lensbaby is teasing a new lens on their facebook page. The lens should be a 55mm f/1.6 an will be unveiled on April 7. We can expect an A and E-mount version of that lens like we have on the 58mm f/3.5 fisheye. That one is available in A-mount (Click here) and E-mount (Click here).
